      The Governing Congregation

Democracy in the Ecclesia; a tool of witchcraft (Part 7)

Democracy in the Ecclesia; a tool of witchcraft (Part 7)

In the last part of these series about the Governing Congregation, the Ecclesia, we are going to talk about democracy in the congregation. Like many of my readers, I grew up with this system. Not only in the congregation but also in my nation. This study is not written against the governments of our nations. The systems they use for politics are none of my concern. Divination and witchcraft in the Congregation (Part 6)

Divination and witchcraft in the Congregation (Part 6)

While the Word of God describes an incredible and powerful Governing Congregation, what the Bible calls the Ecclesia, the image that rises is far from what we see in the world today. The greatest and most powerful example is, of course, the way God made Himself known to us. There is no way to avoid that in the Scriptures. It’s everywhere. God wants to make Himself known to us. God wants us to know Him for Who He is, not for what He does. Yet those two things are connected, for Who He is determines what He does. When He presents Himself in the Bible and when He wants to deal with a situation, He always gives us one of His names, a name that involves the solution for the problem.

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Part 3)

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Part 3)

By the time that Jesus was born on this earth, the disastrous consequences of sin were painfully visible in the world. The decay had set in everywhere and nothing was in the state that God meant it to be anymore. While reading the Bible, we can read this page after page. The difference between the world that was just created and the world where Jesus was born in was huge. But when you are born into a generation that knows no other world then the one you were born in, you don’t know any better. However, Jesus was not just a man, born into His generation.
